This Thursday and Friday, November 13th and 14th – Join WCTY with ShopRite at our annual food drive to benefit the TVCCA and the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Bank.

Since ShopRite was founded, they have made fighting hunger in our communities a priority. During this season of giving, please join Ken Jr, the Capano family, and the entire ShopRite team in gathering non-perishable food to donate to the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Bank. With the high inflation these past few years, hunger and food insecurity now affect more than 1 in 5 families in our neighborhood.

Your donations may be dropped off at either ShopRite location in Norwich. Various premade bags will be available for purchase to make donating easier.

As a reward for your generosity or to extend your donation further, ShopRite and the Capano family will offer a $10 gift card for $25 bags and a $25 gift card for $50 bags bought and donated to this food drive. Thank you for all your support!

All food donations to the Gemma E. Moran Food Center are appreciated. During the holiday season, we are especially in need of the following items to prepare holiday food baskets:

• frozen turkeys
• boxed stuffing
• cranberry sauce
• boxed mashed potatoes
• canned vegetables
